From July 13 to 19, 2025, the United States will conduct its annual Operation Safe Driver Week, an initiative organized by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) in collaboration with law enforcement. The main goal is to improve road safety and reduce crash rates by focusing on risky driving behavior and strict rule enforcement.
During this week, both commercial and passenger vehicle drivers will be subject to increased roadside inspections and monitoring.

This is a nationwide campaign that includes:
- Roadside stops and inspections
- Monitoring of driver behavior behind the wheel
- HOS (Hours of Service) and logbook compliance checks
- Enforcement of key safety regulations
Inspections typically increase on highways, near shipping zones, and in high-risk areas.
